Pork Potstickers... mmm!

So this week I decided to try something new - Potstickers! My husband and I have a bit of an addiction to Pork Egg Rolls so I thought I'd try something similar but new. These were a hit! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures when I finished because I was running short on time, but here they are in the process!

They pork filling - It has minced ginger root, green onion, and cabbage and sesame oil and soy sauce.
This is the dough after I sliced it into pieces I could roll out into circles. I used a recipe that was literally flour and water but the measurements seemed really off. I made it work though.
And the potstickers being fried. I liked that for this you only used a little olive oil rather than dropping them into a deep fryer like you would egg rolls. After you browned one side you quickly poured in 1/2 cup of water then covered the pan with a lid until they cooked through. Then you took off the lid and let them sort of dry out but I didn't feel like mine sufficiently dried out. They weren't super moist but enough that I noticed and it seemed like no matter how long I left them to cook without the lid, I still got the same amount of moisture.

Overall, I really enjoyed this recipe and will definitely be making them again with a few minor adjustments. These went really well with a soy dipping sauce - soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chili paste, and green onion. Delicious!
